Q1: Does Kenya.com book flights from Kenya?
A1: Presently we only offer fares for flights originating from the United States of America.
Q2: Do I need a transit visa to connect via London?
A2: This depends on the passport you carry and immigration status in the United States.

Q3: Which airlines does Kenya.com book?
A3: We book flights on all the major carriers including: Kenya Airways, British Airways, Northwest/KLM, Emirates, Swissair, Ethiopian Airlines etc
Q4: Why are Kenya.com airfares so low?
A4: Our fares are discounted consolidator fares which come with restrictions. Ask your Kenya.com travel consultant for more details on restrictions applicable to your fare.
Q5: Does Kenya.com have cheaper fares not posted on the website?
A5: The airfares posted on the website are the lowest we have currently.
Q6: Can I get a discount for booking early?
A6: Airfares are based on the departure date and not the purchase date. The advantage of booking early is to ensure availability of discount fares on the desired travel date. Discount fares to Kenya and Africa in general often sell out several months in advance.
Q7: I'm not ready to pay now. Can I book now and pay later?
A7: Once a live booking is made airline allow us 48 hrs to ticket the booking. After that the booking automatically cancels and has to be booked afresh.
Q8: Can I pay for my flight in installments?
A8: Airlines requires payment in FULL within 48hrs of the live booking. After that the booking automatically cancels.
Q9: How much is the child fare?
A9: A passenger is considered a child if she/he is between 2 and 12 years on the return date. Depending on the carrier, child fares average about 75% to 80% of the adult fare.
Q10: How much is the infant?
A10: A passenger is considered an infant if she/he is 2 years or less on the return date. Depending on the carrier infant fares average about 10% to 25% of the adult fare.

Q13: Does Kenya.com offer group discounts?
A13: Airlines define a group as 20 people or more. Traveling on the same flight with all the arrangements and payments handled through a single point of contact. However if you are 8 people or more travel together, making your arrangements and payments through a single point of contact, call us at 714.848.5800 we may be able to work something out.
Q14: Are these fares guaranteed?
A14: Airfares posted on the website are valid as of today. They are subject to change with prior notice.
Q15: What is the cancellation policy?
A15: Depending on the airline and type of fare, the cancellation penalty can be up to$300 per ticket. In some instances the ticket is none refundable once issued. Ask your Kenya.com travel consultant for the terms pertaining to your specific airfare before completing the purchase.

A16: Depending on the airline and type of fare, the ticket may be refundable minus the cancellation fee. In some instances the ticket is none refundable once issued. Please ask your Kenya.com travel consultant for refund rules pertaining to your specific airfare before completing the purchase.
Q17: Is my ticket transferable?
A17: Airline tickets are not transferable. They are only valid for travel by the person named in the ticket.
Q18: Can I change my ticket after it is issued?
A18: Depending on the airline and type of fare, the ticket may be changeable for a change fee. In some instances the ticket can not be changed nor cancelled once the ticket is issued. Please ask your Kenya.com travel consultant for the change rules on your specific airfare before completing the purchase.
Q19: Do I need a visa to travel to Kenya?

Q20: What is the maximum stay allowed?
A20: Most discount fares allow a maximum stay of 90days. However, some airlines like British Airways allow a maximum stay of 360 day for discount fares.
Q21: Does Kenya.com book domestic flights?
A21: It's a service we provide to our corporate account clients.
Q22: Why are high season fares so high?
A22: The high season is the busiest travel. Airline don't offer us discount fares to sell during the high season.
Q23: What is an electronic ticket?
A23: Paper tickets are progressively being phased out worldwide. Soon all travel will be on electronic tickets which you can print out from our website. Ask your Kenya.com travel consultant for your reference number to view your electronic ticket.
Q24: How much luggage is allowed?
A24: Most airlines allow 2 pieces of luggage not exceeding 70lbs each and one carry on. Please visit the respective airline website for more details on specific luggage restrictions.
Q25: How many hours in advance should I be at the airport?
A25: For international flights it is advisable to be at the airport at least 3hrs before departure. This allows time to go through the long security checks.
Q26: Can I buy and open ticket?
A26: Discount fares require a departure and return date at the time of booking.
